At Soul Midwifery, we are absolutely committed to cheering on midwives and growing a community of practitioners who want to work closely with women, serve in the community, and offer truly individualised care.

No matter where you are on the journey, whether you are a student, working toward endorsement, newly endorsed, or already practising, we would love to support you. To connect with you. To help in whatever way we can.

Support can look different depending on where you’re at.

Often this includes:

• Students attending homebirths
• Mentoring and guidance while working toward endorsement
• Support as you move toward working independently
• Conversations about continuity models and private practice
• Opportunities to collaborate and work within our services

Everything we do is grounded in:

• Physiology
Birth was designed to work. Protecting normal processes leads to better outcomes for women and babies.

• Continuity of care
One known midwife across pregnancy, birth and postpartum builds trust, strengthens clinical judgment, and supports safer decision-making.

• Informed choice
Women are capable and intelligent. They deserve clear, evidence-based information without fear or coercion.

• Clinical integrity
Intervention has its place. It is not neutral. We offer individualised care that isn’t routine or cookie cutter

• Community-based care
Birth does not belong solely in institutions. It belongs in relationship, in community, and within models that honour individualised support.
